The operator is in the process of letting agents know the conference will now take place in “early 2026”.
A spokesperson told TTG the operator had for a few years been considering whether the timing of the annual conference was “best for everyone”, adding it had been decided to reschedule this year's gathering “in consultation with agents”.
Alan Cross, Jet2's director of travel agent relationships, has assured agents that further information will be revealed in due course.
“Having spoken to so many partners, rescheduling our conference reflects what we believe is a better fit for you and for the industry as a whole," he said. “It gives everyone more breathing room to plan effectively, ensuring the event is as valuable and relevant as possible for you, your teams, and your business.
“We’re confident this will help us deliver, as usual, an experience that’s truly worth the wait. It also acts as another springboard in the build up to summer to get together, have meaningful discussions, and head into the peak summer season charged up and ready to grow our businesses together.”
No new date or hotel have yet been confirmed for the conference. Jet2holidays charters its own aircraft to transport agents to and from the annual overseas event.
The operator will host its first ever summit for non-retail and home-based agents on Thursday (11 September).
