Middle East crisis: Gulf carriers launch 'limited' schedules as first MSC Cruises charter flight departs the region

Several Gulf carriers have launched "limited" schedules while MSC Cruises is putting on charter flights to help get the many hundreds of thousands of people stranded in the Middle East home as the conflict there enters its seventh day.

On Thursday (5 March), prime minister Keir Starmer confirmed the first UK government charter flight had arrived back in the UK from Muscat after a 24-hour delay, with the government promising more in the coming days. British Airways is also putting on daily flights back from Oman.
