The second episode is entitled Have Christmas travel ads lost their sparkle, as editor in chief Sophie Griffiths is joined by TTG’s luxury reporter Emma Dooney and marketing expert Andrew Shelton to discuss the industry’s turn of year campaigns.
The trio explore how travel advertising has changed, whether TV campaigns are still influential, how travel brands are now targeting consumers – and ways in which travel agents can tap into this. Andrew Shelton, who was previously marketing director at Virgin Holidays, and managing director for Cheapflights also recounts memorable stories from the front line and shares tips on trends and changes we might see this peaks.
Unpacked, by TTG, is hosted fortnightly and features guest appearances from familiar faces throughout the trade who will join the TTG editorial team as we dissect and discuss different topics.
