The move follows research with the TTG community, which found almost 90% said they would listen to a TTG podcast.
Unpacked, by TTG, will be hosted fortnightly, featuring guest appearances from familiar faces throughout the trade who will join the TTG editorial team as we dissect and discuss different topics.
Launching on Tuesday (9 December), the first episode takes a look at the all-important peaks period using fresh data from PwC and TTG, with a guest appearance from director of the Travel Trade Consultancy Martin Alcock, as we ask the crucial question – Hit or miss: will peaks 2026 live up to the hype?
Each episode will be no more than 25 minutes, providing fun, short takes on the latest industry news and hot topics, for agents and those working in travel to listen to while on the move.
Latest episodes can be found on Apple and Spotify, as well as on ttgmedia.com, with new episodes released fortnightly.
Sophie Griffiths, editor-in-chief said: “This has been an incredibly exciting year for TTG Media. Not only have we seen more travel agents than ever registering to read our industry-leading content, but we’ve also launched a host of new initiatives including our TTG LGBT+ Ambassador programme, the TTG Top 20 Luxury Travel Awards and Black Book – our huge new event connecting luxury agents and suppliers.
“This year also saw us print the final editions of TTG and TTG Luxury in response to audience research, and we’re excited to now introduce the next chapter of TTG – bringing our award-winning content right to listeners’ ears with our all new podcast Unpacked, by TTG.”
