Inspiretec founder Simon Powell will stand down as the business's Chief Executive in the autumn, it has been confirmed.

It follows Inspiretec's sale to Spain's Juniper Group last November and its subsequent integration into Juniper's Taurus portfolio.
Powell, who founded the Cardiff-headquartered business in 1995 as Comtec, will be succeeded by long-serving Chief Commercial Officer Richard Baker.
Inspiretec provides backend tools and functionality to the travel trade – agents and tour operators – for managing content, customer data and sales processes.
