Briggs rejoins the sector having previously spent more than two decades with DialAFlight in various positions before leaving travel during the pandemic.
In her new role, she will work alongside other BDMs and NJT’s academy team to support new homeworkers through their “initial phase” of business development, including helping them to reach the “milestone” of achieving their first 10 bookings.
"Coaching is the thing that makes me buzz," said Briggs. "I can do sales but helping people improve and watching them develop is what I love. This role ticked all my boxes: a collaborative team environment, home-based and specialising in coaching."
Briggs will assist consultants to develop strategies to find clients, maximise profit margins through supplier selection, build confidence and implement marketing and networking plans.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel, added: "Starting a business in any new industry can feel overwhelming. That's why we've created a system that focuses on actions that directly boost sales, whilst also instilling confidence in our consultants to sell with passion and authenticity."
