The luxury river cruise line will introduce a new team structure to support this growth, shuffling four roles while recruiting for two additional positions.
From 1 April, Anna Borrer, AmaWaterways business development manager for south east, will take on the expanded role of business development manager, key accounts UK.
Rachel Simon, business development manager for the south west, Midlands and Wales, and Joanne Smithies, business development manager for the north of England, will both become strategic account managers.
Meanwhile, Katrina Latimer, business development manager for northeast England, Scotland and Ireland, will move into a strategic account manager role with a focus on retail and consortia head offices.
The line is also recruiting two new regional business development managers.
“Our engagement with the travel trade is a top priority, and we’re constantly looking at ways to deliver the highest level of service, just as we do across our fleet,” said Andrea Stafford, sales director for UK and Europe.
“These moves are not only great opportunities for our sales team to broaden their reach and develop professionally, but also a way for AmaWaterways to better connect with key markets and drive business growth. We’re excited to recruit the very best sales talent to join us as we continue to expand our product offering.”
