Once a booking is paid in full and within the 100% penalty period, commission for standard cruise bookings of up to 40 nights will now be paid from 50 days prior to departure.
For standard cruise bookings in excess of 40 nights, commission will be paid from 90 days prior to departure. In addition, for 20% Explorer Fare bookings, commission will be paid within 30 days of receiving final payment.
"Travel advisors are at the heart of our success, and we recognise the importance of providing them with the financial support they deserve – faster," said Matias Lira, Crystal senior vice-president trade sales Americas, UK and EMEA.
"By accelerating commission payments, we’re reinforcing our commitment to our partners and ensuring they can focus on what they do best – crafting unforgettable journeys for their clients."
The new policy will be applied to all existing, qualifying standard bookings that have been paid in full within the 100% penalty period.
Crystal said agents could expect payments to be processed within the next 30 days for standard bookings, and in the coming months for applicable Explorer Fare bookings.
