In April, nine marketing professionals will be invited on Emily Bronte for an Amsterdam, Kinderdijk & the Dutch Bulbfields sailing and join excursions and experience services like "any Riviera guest" would.
The host will be Riviera Travel's channels marketing and PR manager Roxy Glendon, who believes the fam will strengthen collaboration between the company's close marketing contacts and key trade partners.
"Our marketing partners are essential in how our holidays are sold, and we believe it’s valuable for them to experience our product exactly as our guests do," she explained.
"Marketing is crucial to driving trade bookings," added Amanda Docherty, head of UK trade at Riviera Travel. "This trip is not only a way to enhance our marketing partners’ understanding of our product, but also to thank them for their ongoing support in promoting Riviera."
The programme has been created following feedback from Riviera Travel's agent committee meetings, where trade partners "share insights on product development, marketing, training and incentives".
It comes just after Riviera Travel recruited Katie Hughes as its new key account manager for the north. Hughes, who joins from Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, was praised by the line for her "commercial performance and high-quality engagement initiatives".
