The additional cruises will depart from Civitavecchia, Italy, on 11, 18 and 25 July before the ship moves to Barcelona and starts offering seven-night round-trip western Mediterranean departures from there.
The eight-night one-way western Mediterranean sailing to Barcelona includes calls to Naples, Italy; Majorca, Alicante, Malaga and Barcelona, all Spain. Prices start from £1,900
The ship will no longer visit La Spezia, Italy, during the 2026 inaugural summer season and will instead visit Marseille, France, or sail an additional sea day depending on the itinerary.
Travel agents and guests have been told about this change. Guests are being offered the flexibility to switch sailings, add an additional sailing or remain on their current booking.
In the winter, Legend of the Seas will operate Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale, US, which will all feature calls to Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
The ship is currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. The construction began with the first steel cutting in January last year, followed by a keel-laying ceremony in October.
Earlier this month, the ship touched water for the first time and was moved to an outfitting pier.
