Speaking at a media event in London on Wednesday (17 September) where it was announced Viva Boutique – Viva's luxury brand – would base its second ship on the River Po and the Venetian Lagoon, Daniels told TTG: "There will be fam trips on Beyond."
She explained that fam trips would be smaller in size compared to Viva Cruises' educationals but said she would look to run fams with trade partners such as Travel Counsellors or Hays Travel.
"We want to get as many agents onboard as we possibly can," Daniels continued. "Viva Boutique is a product that agents need to see and sail on to fully understand."
When asked how Viva's luxury river product differs from other high-end cruise operators, Daniels said: "It's the little touches and surprises plus everything onboard is linked to the destination. For example on Viva Beyond, the decor, the culinary options and experiences are all linked to France."
Viva Beyond will carry up to 112 passengers in its 56 cabins, of which half are 30 square metre suites. There will be three restaurants onboard including fine dining eatery Moments, Brasserie and Riverside.
The ship will depart from Paris on its maiden round-trip voyage on 10 May 2026. During its debut programme it will operate three themed itineraries – In the Footsteps of Impressionism, the Culinary Delights of Normandy and Pure Culture along the Seine – until late October.
Viva Unique – Viva Boutique's second ship – will also offer themed sailings around culinary, art, culture and lifestyle. Cruise-only prices start from £2,350 per person.
Starting May 2027, the refurbished 104-passenger ship will sail itineraries visiting places such as the lagoon island of Mazzorbo Burano, the fishing town of Chioggia or the town of Polesella with an optional excursion to Verona or Bologna and Taglio Di Po. An optional excursion to the Unesco site of the Po Delta is also available.
Viva Unique will have 14 30 square metre suites and three onboard restaurants – Moments, Trattoria and the main Riverside restaurant.
The ship also features a wellness area, a fitness room and a sun deck with a pool that offers panoramic views of the Venetian Lagoon and the towns along the Po River.
All itineraries will have Viva's All-Inclusive product, which includes high tea, full board, all beverages, minibar, beauty products, WiFi and gratuities.
Viva Cruises chief executive Andrea Kruse said: "With Viva Unique, we’re not just launching a ship – we’re creating a floating experience that celebrates the soul of Italian culture, cuisine and craftsmanship.
"It’s about offering our guests something truly personal, immersive and unforgettable.”
