The 111-passenger Tui Luzia will have four decks featuring a shallow pool, sun loungers and a bar and dining area open every day for drinks and self-serve lunches called Cinder.
There will be 56 cabins including Super French Balcony cabins, Balcony cabins, French Balcony Suites and a single cabin.
Other onboard venues include the main lounge bar Novo; Retreat, a hybrid area offering a juice bar and a space for wellness classes such as yoga in the day and an intimate lounge bar for a drink at night.
The main restaurant Sorriso will serve breakfast through to dinner and Vinha, a Portuguese-inspired alfresco dining space where guests can enjoy a la carte dinner and in the day it will be a place for relaxation.
Luzia will operate round-trip seven-night sailings on the Portuguese river with daytime sailing and shore experiences available. There will be flight options with Tui partner airlines to Porto to join Tui River Cruises's Douro departures.
In addition, Tui River Cruises will be offering two new ports of call in the summer 2027 season on Tui Aria sailing the Dutch and Belgian waterways to the city of Zaandam, Netherlands, and Tui Maya operating East Danube Delights visiting Aljmas, Croatia.
The river line said it will continue to provide choice and flexibility throughout the season with a range of itineraries, including short cruises aimed at first-time cruisers as well as longer sailings.
The five-ship fleet will be deployed across the Danube, Belgian and Dutch Waterways, Rhine and Moselle rivers throughout the summer 2027.
All 35 sailings, departing between March and October 2027, will go on sale on 16 October 2025.
Katy Berzins, head of river cruises at Tui River Cruises, said: “Tui Luzia marks a major milestone as we launch our biggest summer programme to date, with more itineraries, more durations, and exciting new ports of call across Europe.
"From the charming villages of Croatia and The Netherlands, we’re giving guests the opportunity to explore Europe’s rivers in a way that’s more flexible, immersive and exciting than ever before.”
Tui Luzia had been previously been called Tui Alma but Tui River Cruises decided to change the name after a trademark issue emerged.
A Tui River Cruises spokesperson said: "We have taken the opportunity to change the name to connect with the local culture the ship will be immersing itself in on the River Douro.
"Therefore, the ship will now be known as Tui Luzia. Luzia in Portuguese means 'light' stemming from the Latin word 'lux'. The name is a variation of the classic name Lucia and carries associations with brightness, clarity and enlightenment."
