Each themed ship visit onboard Queen Mary 2 will focus on Cunard’s distinctive style and White Star Service, including a full ship tour.
The first ship visit will also allow agents to sample Cunard’s afternoon tea and tickets to a Royal Court Theatre performance. The following day’s visit will feature a three-course meal in the Britannia restaurant.
Cunard said the experiences will help agents "immerse themselves in the Cunard proposition, broadening their product knowledge and building confidence when selling Cunard".
Agents will also be given details of the line’s upcoming trade initiatives and Shine Rewards Club incentives.
In Southampton, Cunard will partner with sister brands P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn to host more than 70 agents from the south coast for a Cruise Cafe event on 18 September at Carnival House.
Agents can network while the lines showcase the latest news across their fleets. The line told TTG some spaces are still available on a first come, first served basis.
Iain Baillie, associate vice-president of UK and EMEA sales at Cunard, said: “Clia Cruise Week is a brilliant opportunity to connect with our valued travel agent partners and really illustrate what makes Cunard so special.
"We’re committed to inspiring travel agents to go beyond expectations, so whether it’s stepping aboard Queen Mary 2 in Liverpool or enjoying our Cruise Café event here at Carnival House, every event is designed to inspire, engage and pay tribute to our agents for the incredible role they play in our success.”
Clia Cruise Week takes place over 15-21 September bringing together cruise lines, travel agents and partners from across the UK to celebrate the cruise industry, share knowledge and encourage more travellers to holiday at sea. During the event, Cunard will award agents Shine Rewards Club points each day.
Furthermore, the luxury cruise line has two remaining fam trips for agents in 2025, starting with a four-night Grills-focused sailing to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge onboard Queen Mary 2 departing 10 September. The second, a four-night short break to Amsterdam on Queen Victoria, will take place from 6-10 November.
After September’s Queen Mary 2 ship visits, Cunard will host three further ship visits this year with two onboard Queen Victoria in Southampton.
The first will be a wellness-focused experience for 60 agents on 24 October and the latter a Grills-focused visit for an additional 60 agents on 4 December. There is another ship visit planned for Queen Mary 2, also in Southampton, on 7 November.
