The carrier will again offer flights from Gatwick to the Lapland destination of Rovaniemi next winter, together with services from Gatwick and Manchester to Tromso in the Arctic Circle, famous for its northern lights displays.
Magnus Thome Maursund, the airline’s chief commercial officer, said: “This winter, our routes to Tromso and Rovaniemi are very popular, and we will continue flying these routes also next winter. In addition, we are opening for booking tickets to the Nordic capitals and other regional cities.”
In addition, Norwegian will continue to offer direct flights from Gatwick to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger. It will also fly from Manchester to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stavanger and Bergen.
Norwegian also operates direct routes from Dublin to Oslo, and from Edinburgh to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. The carrier said new destinations “will be released at a later time”.
Norwegian will add another new destination to its summer 2025 timetable. It will also operate from Gatwick to Alesund on Norway’s coast and offer Newcastle-Copenhagen too.
