To many Disney fans, I am the luckiest person in the world right now.
It’s late November and I am one of the privileged few to step inside Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen, the latest additions to Disneyland Paris’ already incredible park. It's a 'blink and you'll miss it' peek behind the construction curtain, but it's certainly enough to whet the appetite of anyone partial to a serving of Disney magic.
Open to the public from 29 March 2026, Disney bosses are calling this €2 billion project a “new era” for Europe’s most popular tourist attraction – one “filled with deeper storytelling and stronger emotion.”
Visitors can expect an emphasis on immersive experiences, such as Frozen’s Kingdom of Arendelle, where you’ll find Elsa’s Ice Palace against the backdrop of North Mountain, and a 7.5-acre lake called Adventure Bay, which will host a drone-powered light show featuring popular Disney characters.
The transformation of the park will also integrate Marvel Avengers Campus – which includes Disneyland Paris's newest rides, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force – into Disney Adventure World.
The countdown to its official opening is on, so to inspire you in the meantime, here are my top upcoming experiences set to delight your Disney-loving clients:
1. Step inside Arendelle at World of Frozen
Inspired by the Frozen franchise, this ethereal theme land teleports guests directly into the Kingdom of Arendelle with its immersive features and lifelike design. Every attention is being paid to detail, with traditional Norwegian decorative art and Scandinavian landscaping recreating the atmosphere of the films' settings.
Children and adults alike are invited to explore all the landmarks of this fictional fiefdom, from its Nordic-style buildings and Fountain of Friendship to the Clock Tower and Arendelle Castle.
The key highlight is the replica of Elsa’s Ice Palace atop the majestic North Mountain, which, at 118 ft high, is strikingly realistic. Guests can look forward to a captivating musical boat ride, Frozen Ever After, where they will venture from the snowy forest to the Valley of Trolls, through Elsa’s Ice Palace, with a rousing finale in Arendelle Bay lit by snowflake-shaped fireworks.
There will also be opportunities to meet the characters themselves, with Anna and Elsa hosting Royal Encounters (reservation necessary), while Olaf, Sven and Kristoff will be roaming freely around the village. To meet Anna and Elsa, your clients will need to join a virtual queue on the day of their visit, available via the Disneyland Paris Mobile App. There will also be limited appearances from a next-generation robotic character representing lovable snowman, Olaf, newly created by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development.
A vibrant 15-minute show, A Celebration in Arendelle, will be presented several times a day, featuring central characters sailing aboard three majestic Viking longships, and the audience will be encouraged to sing along to iconic songs such as Let It Go.
2. Be dazzled by the new lake night-time spectacular by Adventure Bay
A scenic new central lake, Adventure Bay, is described as the beating heart of the park's expansion, and at night, this area will transform into an open-air stage for a technology-driven night-time spectacular. Tiered viewing areas will ensure everyone can enjoy the show.
Kicking off from 8pm, Disney Cascade of Lights will use cutting-edge effects and new aquatic drone technology to create captivating visuals over Adventure Bay. Expect to see heroes like Moana, Mulan and Hercules come to life with dazzling fireworks and drone displays taking place overhead. There'll be water screens, choreographed fountains, large-scale projections, dynamic lighting, special effects and pyrotechnics, and a powerful soundtrack recorded by a 90-piece orchestra. Yes, this will be worth staying up late for.
3. Spin on the Tangled-inspired gondola ride
Even if you think you’re immune to Disney romance, Raiponce Tangled Spin (the French name for Rapunzel) might just change your mind.
Inspired by Tangled, this amusement ride seats guests in spinning gondolas beneath hundreds of glowing lanterns. The fairytale-like experience is made all the more romantic by the accompanying music, which includes ‘I See the Light’ and ‘Kingdom Dance’. Conveniently located at the entrance of Adventure Way, it’s bound to be hit with children as well as smitten couples.
4. Meet Disney princesses at Regal View Restaurant & Lounge
When hunger hits, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge is the place to go.
Located on Adventure Way, this fully table service restaurant welcomes guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner in an elegant atmosphere with ethereal lakeside views, while Regal View Lounge is the first bar that is located inside the Disneyland Paris parks.
Its menu boasts European dishes and themed beverages (including a Rapunzel-inspired mocktail with violet and elderflower), both of which can be enjoyed alongside the company of visiting princesses. The vibe is equally classy, with embroidered drapes and decadent murals creating a dining experience that’s fit for a royal.
If you want to truly wow your client, reserve one of the tables overlooking Adventure Bay for an optimal view of the Cascade of Lights.
For quick service, Nordic Crowns Tavern will offer both lunch and dinner, inspired by Nordic cuisine, such as grilled salmon and Nordic meatballs, along with a range of frozen desserts from a blue sorbet to vanilla ice cream with customizable toppings.
5. A new main avenue, Adventure Way
The opening of Disney Adventure World redraws the park map for Disneyland Paris, and brings the existing World of Pixar and Marvel Avengers Campus alongside World of Frozen, and links them with a new thoroughfare, Adventure Way. This wide avenue will help guests navigate from land to land, and will have a wide choice of dining, green spaces and a variety of entertainment.
For those who grew up pretending to be superheroes, Marvel Avengers Campus is where dreams become reality. Since opening in 2022, the area continues to evolve with new experiences, unique attractions and more beloved characters.
Alongside opportunities to enjoy live-action stunts and encounters with fan favourites like Spider-Man, Thor and Black Panther, its immersive attractions allow visitors to join the action and feel like true Avengers recruits.
Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force are two headline rides that deliver exactly this. Visitors can team up with Spidey to defeat an invasion of out-of-control Spider-Bots, and join Iron Man and Captain Marvel on a mission to save the world from intergalactic threat.
World of Pixar, meanwhile, is home to such favourites as Crush's Coaster, RC Racer and Ratatouille.
Coming later...
Up next, a flying carousel inspired by Disney's Up will join the attractions along Adventure Way, and later, a whole area devoted to The Lion King will open. Construction began in autumn 2025 for this themed area, where the headline attraction will be a water-based thrill ride that harnesses next-generation animatronics to immerse guests deep inside Pride Lands following Simba's adventures.
