The Hoxton is to float out a new ‘hotel’ to celebrate the first anniversary of the opening of its Amsterdam property.
Given The Hoxton, Amsterdam’s location on one of the city’s canals, Herengracht, the company is setting up Hox on The Locks in London as an extension of the hotel from July 1- 14.
Hox on The Locks will be located on Regents Canal for the two-week period and offered to guests for one-night stays. Each guest will also be invited to a private Hoxtown event with activities changing daily, such as paddleboard yoga, canoeing, cocktail masterclasses and BBQ workshops.

The hotel-boat is moored at Gainsborough Wharf in Haggerston in east London and stays can only be won by emailing hoxlocks@thehox.com before the end of June 24.
The 14 winners of the stays get a night on Hox on The Locks, breakfast, dinner at a local restaurant and a one-off Hoxtown event for two people.
As well as the Amsterdam property, the original Hoxton was in Shoreditch, followed by Holborn in London. Future plans include properties in New York's Willamsburg and Paris, which are scheduled to open next year, followed by a third property in London in Southwark, in Chicago and LA.
The expanding brand is owned by Ennismore, which also owns Gleneagles in Scotland.
