The Advantage Policy Advisory Group (APAG) will comprise 10 Advantage members from across the UK who have nominated themselves for inclusion.
These include Barrhead Travel’s Jacqueline Dobson; Jeanne Lally from the Travel Bureau; Tony Mann from Idle Travel; Martin Founds from Anglers World Holidays and Damian Murphy from Terra Travel.
Completing the group is TravelTime World’s Ashley Quint; Kognitive’s Andy Cooper; Sharon Thompson from Thompson Travel, James O’Donnell from Eton Travel and Suzanne Horner from Gray Dawes Group.
Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive of Advantage, said: "Together with Aito, we have made good progress over the last couple of months in developing our lobbying strategy."
She said one of the group’s key areas of focus in 2023 will be to help members engage with their local MPs.
"The direct engagement with our respective memberships remains vital to ensure that any policy asks are relevant to them and reflect the needs of their businesses," she continued.
The group’s first meeting is set to take place before the end of the year, with subsequent meetings taking place quarterly.
