The carrier will operate three flights a week to Vancouver International airport, until October 7.
The launch is the airline’s second seasonal route from Gatwick, having launched a Toronto service last summer.
Flights will operate using a 282-seat Boeing 767 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing midday and arriving Vancouver at 2.10pm.
Return services will depart Vancouver at 4.45pm, arriving at Gatwick at 10.25am the following day.
