Armit, who was previously regional sales manager at STA Travel, will join the Scottish independent early next month bringing with her more than 20 years’ industry experience.

Her appointment follows news of Barrhead’s recruitment drive across the business and the opening of its second English flagship retail store in Leicester.

We have a significant expansion plan in place for the next 18 months and her appointment is one of many new roles being created.

“Linda’s flair for team management and enhancing business performance will strengthen our sales division, and she will help to roll out the next stages of our expansion plans.
