The 11-day G’day Australia events will take place in Cairns between 3-14 October and 6-18 October. 

The programme will include a three-day workshop and networking functions where agents will meet with more than 100 tourism operators.

They will also take part in a selection of day activities throughout Cairns and the surrounding areas, as well as a four-night pre- or post-experience supported by Australia’s state and territory tourism organisations.

Agents who are interested in becoming an Aussie Specialist with Tourism Australia can also be in with a chance of attending G’day Australia.

To qualify, they must sign up to become an Aussie Specialist via Tourism Australia’s website and complete the training modules.

Current specialists, meanwhile, can submit their applications online. All must be completed and submitted by 19 May. A participation fee of AUD$550 including flights is applicable.
