The 32-year-old from Orpington was taken into custody yesterday after the incident at the travel agency on Friday (July 8).
Authorities were called to the store in Mount Pleasant Road at 11.35am after staff had reported being threatened by a man armed with a handgun.
According to Kent Online, a “quantity of currency” was stolen from the shop with the suspect fleeing the scene on foot.
It is then believed he got into a blue Renault Clio which was last spotted heading in the direction of Crowborough.
Nobody is reported to have been hurt during the robbery and the man has now been bailed until October 24.
