Clyde Travel Management has purchased independent Scottish agency Beaver Travel.
Beaver Travel has two agencies in Elgin and Forres in northern Scotland, as well as a corporate travel division based in Forres.
The agency was founded in 1973 and later taken over by the Widdowson family in 1999.
Clyde Travel Management director Paul Cronje said: “We are delighted to have Beaver Travel join the Clyde family.
“It is a brand we have long admired as friendly competitors to our own leisure division, Alba Travel. Both brands are established institutions in their own communities, having both been in existence for over 40 years.”
Clyde said it would be “retaining everything that has made Beaver Travel the number one choice for holidays in this community”.
Beaver Travel owner Fiona Widdowson added: “We are confident that under the management of Paul Cronje and his team, Beaver Travel will continue to serve the communities it operates in with the professionalism, expertise and kindness it has done for the last 40 years.”
