Launched by Crystal Cruises last week, the tours feature the use of a privately owned Boeing 777-209LR with itineraries lasting between 15 and 29 days.
New trips include a 27-day round-the-world trip from New York taking in a number of US cities, Asian ones and Paris while a wine-devoted trip leaving San Francisco takes in Cape Town, Tuscany and Bordeaux too.
Crystal chief executive and president Edie Rodriguez said: “Crystal AirCruises will push the boundaries of what luxury travellers have traditionally thought possible within one holiday experience, as our guests will be able to span the globe in the course of a few weeks without sacrificing the ease and stylish comfort they expect from a Crystal holiday.
“For instance, wine lovers need not choose just one exceptional winegrowing region, but can immerse themselves in several of the most acclaimed areas with the benefit of our luxury aircraft to whisk them easily to the next destination.
“Likewise, travellers need not limit their exploration of the world’s ancient icons due to distance, as Crystal AirCruises provides the ability put into context the history and significance of many in one holiday.”
