New easyJet holidays packages, departing from May 2024, are available to book now, but the new fights from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester will go on sale “in the coming months”.
Prices for a seven-night stay at the Villa Michalis on a self-catering basis lead in from £361 per person, while a week-long break at Skiathos Palace Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis starts from £575pp.
It comes after Storm Daniel swept across southern Europe earlier this month, bringing high winds and heavy rains – forcing airlines and operators to pause their scheduled departures.
Paul Bixby, commercial director at easyJet holidays, said: “The Greek islands are particularly popular with our customers, so we’re delighted to have launched package holidays to Skiathos for the very first time.
“We have a fantastic range of hotels and packages on offer to suit all budgets, so we’re pleased to offer our customers travelling from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester an even better selection of brilliant holidays at unbeatable prices for summer 2024 and beyond.”
The low-cost carrier and operator already offer flights and holidays to 15 Greek destinations, including Athens, Corfu, Crete, Kos, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini.
EasyJet holidays recently announced it was extending its season in Rhodes to the end of November to support the island’s recovery following summer wildfires.
