TTG is calling on agents to take up a five-point action plan to help get behind the #SaveTravel campaign and show their support of the travel industry.
#SaveTravel is warning hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost without urgent and specific support from the government, as the travel industry struggles to survive in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

“We have made a great start in our sector, and have been heartened and emboldened by the response from industry so far to #SaveTravel,” said Sophie Griffiths, editor of TTG.
“We know how powerless people have been feeling during the crisis and that their voices are not being heard. All this was exacerbated by the decision on effectively banning all travel to Spain with no consultation, for example.
“Now the next step is localizing the campaign and impressing on MPs and the local media the specific impact this crisis will have on their towns, high streets, local businesses and residents if the travel industry is not supported.”
