Situated in Eastbourne, the agency’s 18th retail outlet was opened by mayor Candy Vaughan on Monday (10 July) at The Beacon.
Advantage Travel Partnership chief executive Julia Lo Bue-Said, Fred Olsen Travel board directors Ian Brooks and Belinda Mindell, Fred Olsen Travel managing director Steve Williams, and Fred Olsen Travel director of retail Paul Hardwick were in attendance.
As the company’s first concept store, in addition to selling holidays and cruises, it will focus specifically on selling select operators and lines – including Riviera Travel, Cunard, Regent Seven Seas, Oceania Cruises and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
Business development manager, Trevor Ridler, will manage the store and its four staff alongside his existing store in Heathfield. Hardwick said: "I couldn’t be more proud of what my development team has achieved with this new location and its concept.
"The store enables us to demonstrate to customers our in-depth product knowledge and the exceptional service you can enjoy at Fred Olsen Travel, and that our staff really can make the difference when choosing your next holiday or cruise."
