The government has invested £750,000 to encourage young people from all backgrounds to consider a career in aviation.
Friday will see the highest number of UK departures since October 2019
Aviation minister Baroness Vere has recently announced the funding will be allocated to several programmes that educate young people about the opportunities available in the sector.
“This investment is crucial to help make the UK the best place in the world for aviation and grow the economy, with a diverse workforce that can effectively address challenges today and in the future,” said the minister.
