Jet2holidays’ Freya Sutcliffe will join The Travel Corporation’s growing UK sales team next month.
Sutcliffe’s appointment as sales manager north at TTC, revealed to TTG last week by Jet2holidays head of trade Alan Cross, follows that of sales manager south east Harry Taylor late last month.
She will start in her new role at TTC Tour Brands on 1 August, working across its Contiki, Costsaver, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Trafalgar touring brands.
At Jet2, she held the role of national non-retail business development manager. She previously held roles with Super Break and at Garstang Travel.
Taylor, meanwhile, joined TTC from JTA Travel where he was regional sales manager south east.
Sutcliffe and Taylor’s appointments follow a leadership shake-up at TTC Tour Brands following the departure of managing director UK and Europe Donna Jeavons, who has joined Abercrombie & Kent.
Kelly Jackson has been appointed managing director of a newly-created EMEA region, with Becky Francis installed as director of sales.
The pair will report into Francis, who said with their appointments, the sales team was going from "strength to strength".
"They both have a proven track record, with brilliant relationships and have the enthusiasm and drive to slot into our passionate team as we continue to provide our valued trade partners with the very best service, and biggest and best range of tours in the business," said Francis.
Sutcliffe and Taylor’s appointments grow the TTC Tour Brands team in the UK and Ireland to five.
Together, they said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the TTC Tour Brands team. With such well-established and prestigious brands now under one sales team, we can proudly go to our agent partners with a full portfolio of award-winning product.
"There is something there for every kind of customer and budget, so we can really add value to our agents and their clients by being the go-to for touring."
