An auction held during the event raised £40,000 for the water charity, while Bond added to its coffers with a £55,000 donation to celebrate Jetset’s 55th anniversary.
Nearly 150 golfers took part in the 20th anniversary of the Just a Drop Charity Golf Day held at Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Course in East Sussex earlier this week, with TTG Media also supporting the event.
Organiser Giles Harper said: “A huge thanks to all 144 golfers, our hole sponsors and all those businesses who so kindly donated both auction and raffle prizes.
“The real winner was, of course, Just a Drop, with the fantastic sum of over £40,000 raised at auction, then topped by John Bond’s hugely generous donation of £55,000.”
The 21st annual Just a Drop Charity Golf Day will return to Dale Hill next year with the event scheduled for Wednesday, 4 September 2024. Entries will be accepted from 1 March.
