Kuoni picks inventive location for new Dorking store
Tom ParryKuoni is to open a new store using office space within the company’s Dorking headquarters.
The shop, set to open on 4 October, will be appointment-only and replaces Kuoni’s branch on Dorking high street that closed during the pandemic.
Dorking has been Kuoni’s home of operations for almost 50 years, with the company moving to its current office location in 2018.
The new store will bring the number of Kuoni outlets throughout the UK to 27.
Managing director Mark Duguid said Kuoni was aiming “to create something very special” with the new shop.
“By making it appointment-only we can give each customer the time they deserve to plan their next trip and they can enjoy coffee, tea or a glass of champagne whilst they’re doing it,” he said.
“We have many loyal customers in Dorking, Leatherhead, Reigate and the surrounding areas who we know will welcome the news. Our plan is to activate local marketing and we’ll be hosting a customer event so we can invite people along to see the space, meet our team and get inspired.”
