Peru, Costa Rica and Kenya are among the 15 destinations picked for success in 2016 by tour operator Kuoni.
Big film launches, new direct flight routes from the UK, favourable exchange rates, state-of-the-art hotel openings and world-leading attractions are some of the factors that the company said would influence travel habits for the year ahead.
The relaxation of Foreign Office warnings to Kenya will see the return of the safari and beach holiday next year while new direct flights to Peru and Costa Rica will make it easier for holidaymakers to travel to the destinations.
Other destinations named on the list were: Italy, Vietnam, Mauritius, South Africa, Antigua, Kuramathi, Greece, India, Burma and Japan.
