Former Saga travel division chief Jeannette Linfoot has joined the board of executive search firm Howgate Sable as an advisor.
Linfoot, who has also held executive roles at Tui, Thomas Cook and First Choice, will work closely with Howgate Sable partner and travel lead Nick Irving and his team to support the firm’s clients in their hunt for new senior talent.
Earlier this year, Howgate Sable launched its first overseas branch, Howgate Sable Middle East, and has a 30-year history in senior level recruitment in the travel, tourism and aviation sectors.
Irving said it was “vital” travel businesses were investing in the right leadership to help guide them through their post-pandemic recovery.
“Jeannette has many years of experience in senior roles in the travel and tourism sector and brings a wealth of on-the-ground knowledge, which in turn helps our clients in their search for the right person to propel their business forwards. I’m delighted to welcome her to the Howgate Sable team,” he said.
Linfoot added: “The Howgate Sable name is well known among senior decision makers in the travel and tourism sector – and for good reason. I’ve worked with Nick for many years and I am thrilled to be joining his team in a formal advisory capacity.”
