Coronavirus has quickly spread around the world, affecting travel to a large number of countries – many of which have introduced stringent travel restrictions.
The Foreign Office (FCO) has issued new travel advice for many countries, and has advised against all but essential travel to several key destinations – including the US, Spain and Sri Lanka.
Restrictions vary from country to country, but they range from border closures, curbs on visa issuance, and quarantine and screening measures.
Measures are subject to change at short notice, while FCO advice can take several hours to several days to reflect new restrictions in some countries.
