Several travel firms are marking agents’ return to the high street with a range of new agent incentives.
Classic Collection’s welcome back rewards scheme will run until 30 April and features a £100 reward for every trade booking worth in excess of £5,000 for travel from 1 July.
The operator has also created new virtual product and destination training, as well as a digital training guide for agents and new marketing assets.
Other content includes window displays, offer posters and a "welcome back to travel" video which can be customised to use on in-store screens or on social media.
The resources are available for Classic’s agent Facebook groups.
Si Morris-Green, Classic Collection director of agency sales and marketing, said: "With retail now opening up to our mutual customers, and the situation regarding international travel gaining clarity, our welcome back campaign will ensure our trade partners are in the best position to capitalise on the pent-up demand for holidays overseas and convert that demand into bookings."
Titan Travel’s "high street’s back" campaign will see the operator give away a £200 lifestyle voucher each week over the next five weeks, which can be spent at a variety of restaurants – or on a team night out.
Every agent who confirms a new Titan booking between 12 April and 16 May will automatically be entered into the prize draw, with each additional booking counting as another entry. Winners will be drawn at random and announced every Monday, starting 19 April. The final winner will be announced on 17 May.
Agents can also claim a £10 lifestyle voucher for every new booking using the online form at titanagents.co.uk. Vouchers must be claimed by the end of the calendar month in which the booking was made.
Edwina Coppock, Titan head of trade sales, said: "With the campaign coinciding with the reopening of pubs and restaurants, we couldn’t think of a better incentive than a voucher that can be spent on an evening out for the whole team. Agents have done an incredible job throughout this last lockdown period and deserve a night on the town, so for five lucky agents the first round is on us."
Saga has launched a "back to the high street" campaign, rewarding agents with a £20 lifestyle voucher for every booking made between 12 April and 2 May for Saga holidays and Saga cruises.
Bookings can be logged using Saga’a April incentives form, or a QR code available from the operator and cruise line’s trade team.
Iain Powell, Saga head of trade sales, said: "We know how pleased our travel agent partners are to be reopening their doors to customers on the high street again this week.
"They’ve been incredibly resilient in really testing times and we wanted to reward and thank them for continuing to support Saga with this new booking incentive."
