The resort operator has announced that from Friday (24 March) agents will be able to earn either reward points or cash for each booking made on the all-inclusive Caribbean collection, which includes resorts in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Cash will be credited to the agent’s personal account while reward points can be converted into free night stays.
Incentives are also on a per room, per night basis with no nightly cap, allowing agents who book extended stays – especially in higher room categories – to earn even more.
Agents will be able to earn a minimum of 30 reward points (or £1.50) per room per night on rooms classified as “low”. While they will be able to rack up up to 100 points (or £5) per room per night on a high-category room.
“Allowing agents to choose their rewards based on their needs will revolutionise Playa Rewards, supporting them on an individual basis,” said business development manager Jade Calver.
“Cash rewards allow agents to continue to build credit that supplements their income whilst the option to convert points into free night stays provides an opportunity to experience Playa’s unique product offering first-hand, supporting agent learning and product knowledge.”
