After its plans to grow its UK operation were scuppered by the pandemic, the new guide comes in a bid to help agents sell the river cruise line to the UK market.
"Nicko cruises is well-known in Germany, however, our plans to grow the UK market were interrupted by the pandemic," said Michelle Daniels, commercial director of Light Blue Travel, UK general sales agency (GSA) for nicko cruises.
"We produced the selling guide for UK agents as a handy nicko cruises reference tool, and as well as selling tips it details exactly what’s included in packages, sample menus and overviews of each vessel."
The guide, which was unveiled during the 2023 Clia Riverview Conference, is available on request in print and can be viewed on the travel agents section of nicko cruises’ website.
