The tour operator and UK-based sustainable water firm originally teamed up in 2019 and have renewed their partnership now that Riviera’s tours have fully resumed.
Guests receive a 15% discount when purchasing a Riviera branded Water-to-Go bottle, which are available from £17, with profits going to charity.
The bottles filter out up to 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, chemicals and other harmful contaminants from any non-saltwater source and can be used to safely drink from any tap, shower, wash-basin, stream or river without any risk to health.
The bottles also reduce the need for single-use plastics on Riviera’s holidays across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, where tap water may not be safe for tourists to drink.
Available in two sizes, the bottle filters can purify 130-200 litres of water, potentially replacing up to 400 single-use water bottles. The filters are 100% recyclable and detachable, so the bottle can simply be used on its own when filled with treated drinking water.
Riviera Travel’s product manager Lucy Goodman said: “We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Water-to-Go, as the impressive technology behind their filters will ensure our guests have access to clean water, no matter where they travel to.
"As a result, we will significantly reduce the number of single-use plastics used on our holidays. Guests can stay topped up, while their environmental footprint goes down."
