Moves this week include a promotion for sales manager Lewis Quigley, who has been promoted to key account manager with immediate effect, and two hires – Vicky Edwards and Kerry Eades – at Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours and Emerald Cruises with the aim of bolstering their sales team.
Elsewhere, Riviera Travel has expanded trading director and international sales vice-president Stuart Milan’s role to boost its efforts to gain a foothold in the US market. He will be joined by Marilyn Conroy and a familiar face in cruise circles, Francis Riley, who has previously worked for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line as well as Traveltek.
Meanwhile, Celebrity Cruises has named Nicola McNeish as its new UK and Ireland sales director, succeeding Claire Stirrup who was recently promoted to the role of UK and EMEA managing director in February.
There has also been a number of hires at Not In The Guidebooks, while Newmarket Holidays has handed a contact centre staff member a new role and Iglu Cruise has recruited a new head of tour operations.
So here are the latest major travel trade hires, promotions and job moves over the past few weeks (Wednesday 5 March to Wednesday 12 March).
