Bizuneh was previously head of UK and Ireland for Air Arabia and head of leisure sales for Jet Airways for the UK and Ireland.
Under his remit, Bizuneh will work with trade partners in preparation for the airline’s three-times weekly London-Bangkok service starting in March.
Aiden Walsh, head of airline development for Discover the World, said: "We are delighted to have Yared join the Scoot team, and spearheading our trade team.
"Yared is well known in the UK and Ireland travel industry, with a proven track record on developing sales especially to Southeast Asia."
Meanwhile, Bizuneh said the company "looks forward to engaging" with its trade partners.
"I am excited to be part of the Discover the World team, representing the award-winning airline Scoot in the UK and Ireland.
"With Thailand now set to welcome back UK visitors, the timing could not be better to introduce Scoot’s direct service from London-Gatwick to Bangkok, which saw Scoot’s seasonal flights for the service be fully booked in December 2021."
