The brand, formerly Sun Resorts, has confirmed Lisa Balsom as sales and marketing director for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. She joins having previously worked in a consultancy role. Prior to this, Balsom was head of Etihad Holidays in the UK.
Her brief will be to develop trade partnerships in the UK and expand into wider European markets for the first time.
Lucy Grey has also been promoted to account manager, UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, having joined the group over five years ago. Her past roles include working as a sales consultant for Abercrombie & Kent and Wexas Travel.
Also joining in a consultancy role is Emma Waycott, managing director of Vinetree Connections and a specialist in the meetings and events sector. Her brief is to build Sunlife’s presence in the MICE market.
