Bedsonline confirms UK and Ireland sales team

The accommodation and travel services provider has confirmed its new sales team following the integration of sister brand TravelCube.

Carlos Feliu has been appointed as retail travel agents director for Iberia, UK and Ireland, with Tom Bell acting as regional manager for North and Central UK and Ireland and Laura Smith for South UK.


Bell will head up a team of five key account managers and a strategic account manager, while Smith will be responsible for four regional managers and two sales executives.


The news follows the recent announcement that the parent company of both TravelCube and Bedsonline, Hotelbeds, will consolidate its retail product portfolio and offering under the newly refreshed Bedsonline brand and platform.


A migration plan is underway to speak to TravelCube customers about the benefits of moving onto Bedsonline’s booking platform, where the combination will increase the number of hotels from 55,000 to 170,000.


Users will now also be able to make use of a “best-in-class” search engine, which allows agents to filter and compare results with added “intuitive” email and PDF functions.

This includes improvements we have made by cherry-picking the best-of-class functionalities from the old TravelCube platform, as well as the expansion of our product portfolio to over 170,000 hotels and strengthened position to negotiate the best deals for our customers.”
