Travelport has appointed Melanie Bryant as client delivery executive for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The new role has been created to develop "deeper technology partnerships with a selection of the company’s largest and most strategically significant customers and prospects" the company said.
Bryant joins from Emirates Airlines, where she was head of business technology, service delivery and Emirates airport services. In that role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the airline’s business IT strategy and accountable for the management of a large strategic investment portfolio.
During her four years with Emirates, Bryant also developed its award-winning mobile application, Journey Manager. Prior to that, she spent 12 years with Qantas Airways, where she held a variety of roles
At Travelport, Bryant will report to Rabih Saab, president and managing director of Travelport, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
