Teesside International airport has revealed its first summer 2021 routes.
For the first time, JetsGo Holidays will offer Majorca breaks from Teesside after its inaugural summer 2020 programme was cancelled due to coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Balkan Holidays’ Bourgas (Bulgaria) charter programme, which launched in 2019, will return after it too was cancelled this summer owing to Covid.
JetsGo’s flights will get under way on 25 July, and operate through to 19 September.
Balkan will launch twice-weekly flights on 23 May, operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
The operator will offer seven, ten, 11 and 14-day breaks, with trips to Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Golden Sands starting from £354pp, with deposits from £49pp.
JetsGo’s couples holidays start from £379pp for seven nights self-catering.
All inclusive school holiday family deals start from £529pp based on a family of four staying for seven nights in August.
Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen said: “The cancellation of our 2020 summer schedule was upsetting but unavoidable as the coronavirus pandemic took hold across the globe.
“Both Balkan Holidays and JetsGo Holidays share our confidence in Teesside International and have shown this with their commitment to coming back."
Houchen added additional announcements for summer 2021 would follow.
