Travellanda has made more than 18,000 “activities” available to the trade, alongside its vast hotel portfolio.
The wholesaler says its activities programme spans nearly 700 destinations across 132 countries, all bookable online by agents and tour operators.
It features everything from conventional sightseeing tours to museum visits, outdoor adventures and gastronomic experiences.
More adventurous pursuits include performance art, balloon rides, zip lines, dune buggying, submarine safari, sunset cruises, pub crawls, street food walking tours, cookery classes and visits to a sumo stable in Tokyo.
Travellanda says it boasts more than 270 activities in Paris alone.
“It’s the wonderful and unusual things one sees and does when travelling that make the journey memorable,” said Travellanda head of sales and marketing Denise Atkinson.
