Tui launches five new resorts for summer 2019
James ChappleTui says the addition of five new resorts to its summer 2019 programme underlines its commitment to growing its own mid-haul portfolio.
Two new Tui Family Life resorts will be available in Greece and Turkey. Elsewhere, three new adult-only Tui Senisimar resorts in Egypt and Majorca will launch to the UK market.
Tui says the additions bring the total number of concept hotels in its UK portfolio to 174 across 48 destinations.

“With these exciting nadditions to our Tui branded hotel collection, we’re able to continue offering customers even more choice and flexibility when it comes to adults only and family holidays.
“Our focus remains on the growth of our concept portfolio in diverse mid-haul destinations that holidaymakers want to visit, like Turkey and Greece.”
Tui’s new Family Life resorts are located in Izmir, Turkey, and Elounda, Crete.
Its coastal Ephesus resort boasts two pools and two tennis courts and unlimited access to 31 waterslides, as well as a private sandy beach and pier.
The Elounda Breeze resort, meanwhile, offers authentic Greek experiences, a private sandy beach, pool options and a la carte dining.
New Sensimar resorts in Majorca and Egypt
Tui’s new Sensimar resorts, which come with four and five-star contemporary hotel accommodation, are located in Majorca and Egypt.
New for May 2019, its beachfront 4T+ Don Pedro resort in Cala San Vincente, Majorca, includes a rooftop pool and bar with live music.
In Egypt, its 4T Sensimar Makadi Gardens in Hurghada has four pools and private beach access, with snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities in Makadi Bay.
The final new property is Tui’s 5T Sensimar Alaya resort in Marsa Aslam with “swim up” rooms, five a la carte restaurants including and five pools.
