Agents will use virtual reality to get a taste of what Greater Palm Springs can offer – including off-road jeep tours of the San Andreas fault as well as Joshua Tree National Park.
Trade partners will also get the chance to win a seven-day holiday to Greater Palm Springs, with flights, hotels and experiences included.
“We hope this tour will encourage people to learn more about the many activities, events and experiences that are available in Greater Palm Springs,” said chief executive Scott White.
“Our virtual reality experience is a must-see and will highlight a few of the many outdoor activities that are available year-round.
“We look forward to sharing our unique and iconic destination with the people of the UK and Ireland during this road trip tour.”
Visit Greater Palms Springs made the headlines earlier this year when it told TTG it was actively investing in new diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies to fight the wave of anti LGBT+ discrimination sweeping the country.
“Just saying you’re all-inclusive and welcoming is one thing, but your practices and behaviours need to engage in a meaningful way - then you truly are,” White told TTG in late June.
