Alongside its recruitment arm The Travel Franchise, the home-working agency has ranked 10th in Franchise Direct’s Top 100 Franchises for the UK listing, just below the likes of Burger King and KFC.
“Shooting straight to number 10 and beating big brands like Vodafone is testament that our franchise is truly innovative,” said co-founder Paul Harrison.
According to Harrison, key innovations such as the launch of a cruise division, which trains agents to sell cruise holidays, as well as the great relationship with key partners have made Not Just Travel an industry disruptor.
Monthly bookings this year have in fact surpassed 2022 levels, with agents bagging orders of up to £300,000 in quiet months such as July and August.
“We’ve already taken £1 million in bookings despite being out of the country 14 times this year,” Harrison added. “That’s the beauty of this business - you can take bookings even while you travel the world and have fun.”
Not Just Travel made the headlines earlier this year when it announced it would spend a further £1 million on recruitment as part of its expansion plans.
This came as part of a recruitment push over recent months, which saw Not Just Travel double its recruitment figures between January and May 2023.
“While we have experienced rapid growth in 2023 we are still looking to recruit and train more franchisees before the start of peaks, the January to March period when agents typically take four times more bookings than any other time of the year,” he added.
“That is another reason why we have launched our September Recruitment Roadshow across Liverpool, Birmingham and London.”
