Wizz Air will require all of its flight and cabin crew members to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by 1 December, 2021.
According to the airline, in "special cases" staff will instead have to undergo regular antigen or PCR testing.
Jozsef Varadi, chief executive of Wizz Air Group, said the airline’s "number one priority" is the health and safety of its passengers and employees.
"We have a responsibility to protect crew and passengers onboard by mitigating the risks of Covid-19, and vaccines play a vital role in this," he added.
Wizz joins several other airlines which have recently introduced the mandate, including Air Canada, Delta, SWISS, United Airlines and Qantas.
