Morris, who joined Kuoni in March 2024 from Azamara Cruises, will lead on trade partnerships strategy, including driving agent engagement, delivering training and developing business development initiatives.
He started his career in travel with Thomas Cook and went onto work for Royal Caribbean Cruises, first as a Regional Sales Manager and latterly as a Key Account Manager.
He will be supported by new recruit Lori Scannella, who joins Kuoni as Trade Partnerships Support Assistant following a near 20-year career in the cruise sector.
Like Morris, she has previously held roles with Azamara Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, with her time at Azamara overlapping with Morris's. She will cover Alix O'Brien's maternity leave.
The changes come after it was confirmed Weetman would take a lead on all Kuoni sales channels across retail, trade and a newly launched network of Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) as Head of Retail, Trade and PTMs.
"The relationships we have with our agent partners are at the heart of everything we do," said Morris. "As a small, dedicated team, we pride ourselves on being accessible, responsive and invested in our partners’ success and we're committed to strengthening the support, training and personal relationships that set us apart."
On Scannella, he added: "I’m thrilled to welcome Lori. She has a deep understanding of the trade, genuine passion for supporting agent partners and strong industry relationships which makes her a fantastic addition to the team."
Scannella said: "Building relationships with travel agents has been a key part of my career and I'm looking forward to working closely with partners, broadening my own knowledge and helping deliver the outstanding support and service that Kuoni is known for."
Kuoni said the changes would "strengthen" its service to the trade after investing in initiatives to help agents grow their expertise, such as through its in-person virtual Passport to Africa training initiative.
The operator plans to continue growing its programme of events, roadshows and virtual learning opportunities for agents, equipping them with destination knowledge, sales tools and direct access to Kuoni's specialist experts.
Morris added: “Enhancing the agent experience remains a key priority. Continued investment in our online booking and support processes to streamline the agent journey will make working with Kuoni even easier."
