The four-person team at the shop in The Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke, will be led by Rachael Iles, who has more than 30 years' travel industry experience.

Prior to stepping into the Branch Manager role, Iles was Assistant Manager at Hays Travel's Yate shop, around eight miles away from the new store. “I am thrilled to be appointed manager at our new Bradley Stoke branch and I cannot wait to get back to doing what I love," she said.

“We have an amazing new team, and we are so proud of our shiny new branch."

Jane Schumm, Hays Travel’s Director of Retail, added: “Bradley Stoke has been on our radar for some time, so we are delighted to open our newest store at the centre of the community.

“The new branch, which is less than 20 miles from Bristol Airport, supports our long-held commitment to backing regional bases, which offer our customers more choice, value and service.

“Our colleagues have already been busy meeting the local community over the last couple of weeks."

The ribbon was cut at Hays Travel’s newest shop by the town’s mayor, councillor Jenny James, on Friday (6 November).
